This module provides two track and hold processors both controlled by the same GATE control input.
Track and hold and sample and hold processors are similar in that they can both remember or “hold” a voltage fed to their inputs.
Track and hold uses a gate control input and while that gate is high the output is the same as the input – in other words the input is “tracked”. Only when the gate is low is the voltage held.
In contrast the Sample & Hold module samples its input at the instant that it detects the rising edge of a trigger and holds it until the next trigger.
