A Time Splitter module designed to make it easier to create fills where a different sequence is used for the last bar in a 4, 8, 12 or 16 bar loop.
In the CV Watcher image above the green trace shows the voltage being fed to V/BAR IN from a Song Part module’s V/BAR OUT socket with the Song Part NUMBER OF BARS set to 4. It rises from 1 V to 4 V over a period of four bars.
The red trace shows the signal output by the BAR 1-3 socket. It rises from 1 V to 3 V over the first three bars then drops to 0 V for the fourth bar.
The yellow trace shows the signal output by the BAR 4 socket. It’s 0 V for the first three bars then rises from 1 V to 2 V for the final bar.
